Forest Hill Elementary is a charter school in a large suburban area of San Jose, California. It is for kids in kindergarten through fifth grade. The school has about 553 students and 25 full-time equivalent teachers. That means that there are 22 students for every teacher, which is the same as the average for the whole district. Forest Hill Elementary has a lot of different academic programs and ways to learn more, but the main goal is to teach kids the basics of reading, math, and science. There are also classes in sports, technology, and the arts. The school also helps students who are learning English and those who need more help, which makes the education better. There are a lot of different kinds of students. Fifty-one percent are male and forty-nine percent are female. About 15% of the students come from families that don't have a lot of money. According to U.S. News, 82% of students are good at math and 77% are good at English language arts (ELA). This means they are doing well in class.

We are so excited to announce the name of our new playground! Following a school-wide and Robinson community vote we narrowed a large list of names down to four. Since our students will be using the playground on a daily basis, we gave them the final vote! 476.....

The lights are on at Forest Hill Elementary in San Jose, California! The school recently won the Silver Recognition Award for PBIS Excellence, which shows how dedicated it is to making the school a safe place to be. This award shows that the school cares about building good relationships between parents, students, and teachers.
The PTA is also spreading holiday cheer by putting on a Teacher and Staff Appreciation event and a Holiday Bakeshop. The school is also encouraging people in the community to get involved by holding a Pennyland Toys fundraiser and a Yearbook Cover Contest. Forest Hill Elementary is making a difference by focusing on student growth and community involvement. It's clear that the school is a place where students can succeed.
