With the SFUSD checking out ways to deal with fewer students and money problems, Hillcrest Elementary is now part of the conversation about possibly merging or closing schools. Ans. The school has a student-teacher ratio of 24:1, which means that each student gets some personal attention.

Ans. Students are below the district average in math (17%) and reading (27%), but they are getting help through ongoing programs.

Ans. The school has a lot of different types of students, with most of them coming from Hispanic, Asian, and other minority backgrounds.
