Alvarado Elementary School is a public elementary school in San Francisco, California. It is part of the San Francisco Unified School District. The school is a structured public school that teaches students from transitional kindergarten to fifth grade the basics. Alvarado Elementary has about 350 to 400 students and a student-teacher ratio of about 21:1, which shows it is one of the best elementary schools in California. It helps keep class sizes small for teaching and helps to make them the The school follows a curriculum that meets standards and focuses on core subjects like English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Enrichment opportunities and student support services that address a wide range of learning needs enhance the instructional process. The other day, Alvarado Elementary School students and teachers got together to celebrate a cool new mural that people from around here helped make. It's up on the school walls now, and it's part of a tradition where students, their families, and people who used to go to the school all work together on art.
