Southwest Senior High is a public high school in the Sweetwater Union High School District that only serves grades 9–12. Southwest Senior High School is making its Medical and Health Sciences pathway better by adding a new clinical simulation lab with modern diagnostic tools that students can use in real life. The campus has started a full College Readiness program for the school year 2025–2026. This includes free SAT prep workshops on campus and help for all seniors with filling out the FAFSA. The school also just opened a new multimedia production center with new equipment.
