Latest News

Rosa Parks Elementary recently had a super fun Multicultural Family Night! Everyone – students, families, and staff – came together to share food, performances, and traditions from different cultures in our school. There were student music and dance shows, art displays, and fun activities that showed off our students’ backgrounds and helped families connect. Teachers said it really helped students feel good about themselves and learn about each other, plus got parents more involved.

Besides the celebration, Rosa Parks Elementary started a reading buddy program. Older students are helping younger ones with their reading, which is building their skills and confidence. Staff say things are going well so far, and more kids are visiting the library and getting into reading in class.

Parents are happy that the school cares about learning and bringing people together. They said the buddy program and family events make the school feel friendly and welcoming.
