Being Updated
Rodriguez Elementary started a cool program to stop bullying and encourage being kind so everyone feels good at school. They kicked it off at the beginning of the school year with things like weekly meetings, chats in class, and fun activities where kids can be respectful, understanding, and include everyone. The principals really want school to be a safe place where every kid feels important.
Those kids get a certificate and get a shout-out during announcements, which is pretty awesome because it encourages others to be kind too.
Plus, the school had its first family night with workshops about feelings, homework help, and chances for parents to chat with teachers. Parents loved it and said it helped them figure out how to help their kids learn and feel good.
Basically, Rodriguez Elementary is serious about their mission to create a friendly school where everyone works together and cares for each other this school year.
