Pacific View Leadership Elementary just started a schoolwide leadership badge program to get students to take responsibility and get involved in their community. The school started the program for all grades in early 2025. Students could earn badges for things like being a good citizen, working well with others, solving problems, and doing well in school. Teachers and administrators say that the program has gotten students more involved and made it easier for them to work together, both in and out of the classroom.

Pacific View Leadership Elementary also held a family leadership night, where parents and guardians took part in hands-on workshops that taught them how to help their kids become leaders at home and in the community.

These changes show that the school is focused on developing leadership skills from a young age and building strong relationships between families and teachers.
