Ocean View Hills Elementary kicked off a new program to get kids to come to school every day. Back in the fall of 2025, school leaders started Attendance Champions. Students get shout-outs and prizes for showing up on time, every time. Teachers say more kids are coming to class, especially the little ones. School counselors are also helping kids who have trouble coming to school by talking to their families and setting goals.

Besides the attendance push, Ocean View Hills Elementary recently held a family wellness night. There were workshops about healthy living, food, and helping kids learn at home. Local health experts and school staff worked together to put on fun activities and give families resources. This shows the school cares about the whole child.

All this shows Ocean View Hills Elementary really cares about kids, getting families involved, and helping kids learn.
