About Ocean Air School

Ocean Air School is a public elementary school. It's part of the Del Mar Union School District and takes kids from kindergarten all the way up to 6th grade. The school usually has around 550 to 600 students, and for every 22 students, there's one teacher. This helps make sure everyone gets pretty consistent classroom instruction.  The state test scores turn out about 65% of students are good at reading, and around 70% are doing well in math, better than what you see on average, both nearby and across the whole state. The school has pretty much an even split of guys and girls among the students here.

Ocean Air really tries to create a school where things are organized but also really helpful. Our teachers keep a close eye on how kids are doing in school and help them build good study habits. Parents often talk about how much they communicate with the school and how involved they are, and that really helps make the school a good place to be. Homes around here usually go for about $1.3 million to $2 million. Which means a lot more families can stay long-term. Ocean Air School helps kids do well in their studies, and with parents who really care, it sets them up for a good start academically. This school is the best school in San Diego, California.
