Being Updated
Marvin Elementary in San Diego just had its yearly Multicultural Festival and Academic Showcase. It was a blast! Students, families, and teachers all got together to celebrate different cultures and how well the kids are doing in school.
There were student performances, cool cultural displays, and projects from class that showed what they learned in math, reading, science, and social studies. Families got to enjoy music, dance, and yummy food from all over the world, representing the different backgrounds of everyone at the school. School leaders also talked about plans to help the kids learn even more.
Marvin Elementary also gave awards to a few students who improved in reading and math, which shows they're working hard to help everyone get better. All in all, things are going great at Marvin Elementary! The school has a great community, loves celebrating diversity, and is focused on showing off what the students are learning in cool ways.
