Loma Portal Elementary School in San Diego was the talk of the town recently. Students, families, and staff had a blast at the holiday parade, really showing off their community spirit.
The school's float was decked out with happy decorations and tons of energy. It really brought everyone together, showing off how much they love their school and how creative they can be.
Parents and teachers teamed up to get the school involved, making sure everyone felt welcome and part of the fun. Students from all grades walked with the school mascot, sang holiday songs, and gave out handmade cards. They even raised some money for classroom stuff and fun activities, with families pitching in to help.
Basically, the parade shows that Loma Portal Elementary is all about getting involved, letting students do things outside of class, and creating a school where families feel welcome and happy.
