Being Updated
This year, iHigh Virtual Academy is getting a lot of attention for its expanded online enrichment programs, which now include new virtual clubs for coding, digital art, and creative writing. These activities are meant to go along with the school's main curriculum and help students learn new skills that aren't usually taught in school. Students and their families have liked the new options, saying that the clubs make learning online more fun and interactive.
In other news, iHigh Virtual Academy has added better academic support sessions for reading and math. These sessions offer small-group virtual tutoring that is tailored to each student's needs. School leaders say that these sessions are meant to help students who need to improve their skills, especially in math.
The academy is also starting a series of virtual family engagement workshops on topics like digital citizenship, online learning strategies, and social and emotional well-being.
