High Tech Elementary Mesa in San Diego has recently been in the news for adding more STEM enrichment activities. Students can now join new coding and robotics clubs that help them improve their digital literacy and problem-solving skills.At a recent student innovation fair, students showed off projects that included basic programming, engineering design challenges, and working together on digital media projects. This was a great example of how the school focuses on technology-integrated learning. These events show that High Tech Elementary Mesa is serious about teaching students real-world skills in science, technology, and creative thinking.
The school is also working closely with families to improve after-school academic support by adding homework help sessions and workshops based on students' interests that build on what they learn in class. Parents and teachers have noticed that students are becoming more excited about these extra activities.

Ans. Enrollment is done through a public charter lottery that is open to all eligible students in the area.

Ans. Yes, the district's meal programs offer breakfast and lunch.
Q5. What kinds of tech tools do students have access to?
Ans. Students can use computers, tablets, and other digital tools that are built into their lessons.
