Being Updated
Hickman Elementary in San Diego just got named one of the healthiest schools in the US for 2025! They won the award because they really care about their kids by giving them good food, exercise, and getting their families involved.
Hickman's main goal is to make sure that all parts of a child's health are good: body, mind, and soul. They teach kids about health, keep recess fun, and do other things to keep them healthy.
Hickman does more than just health stuff; he also gets families involved in events and offers support. Kids do better when they have good relationships with other kids. Parents should get involved in school events, workshops, and volunteering to make the bond between home and school even stronger.
All of this shows that Hickman Elementary is a great place to learn, with a healthy and supportive environment. They really care about making sure kids are healthy and do well in school.
