Being Updated
The San Diego Unified School District is currently working on a big planning update that could have an effect on the middle school grades at Fulton K–8 School. District officials said they want to slowly get rid of grades 6–8 at some K–8 campuses, including Fulton, starting in the 2026–27 school year. Instead, older students would go to nearby comprehensive middle schools. The district said that the change was made to give students more choices in electives and access to programs that are specific to their needs.
Even with these changes, the elementary school part of Fulton K–8 will stay open and continue to serve students in kindergarten through fifth grade. District leaders are working closely with staff and families to make sure that students who are affected have a smooth transition and can still learn in a supportive environment.
Q1. Is there a dress code or uniform policy at Fulton K-8 School?
Ans. The school follows the district's rules for how students should dress, and the school administration will let you know about any specific dress code rules.
Q2. Do middle school students have access to extracurricular activities?
Ans. Yes, Fulton K-8 might have clubs, sports, or other activities to help students learn more, but only if there are enough staff members and students are interested.
Q3. Does the school offer services for kids with special needs?

Q4. How can families stay up to date on school news and events?
