This winter, Foster Elementary is in the spotlight because students, families, and staff are celebrating the success of its first Winter STEAM Fair. There were science, technology, engineering, art, and math projects that people could do. Students showed off their creative inventions, worked together on experiments, and set up displays that people could interact with.Families were invited to see exhibits and take part in activities that showed how what kids learn in school can help them deal with problems in the real world. Teachers said that the fair made students more confident and excited about STEAM subjects.

Along with the STEAM Fair, Foster Elementary School recently started a family reading challenge. The goal is for students to reach their reading goals during the break.
