Emory Elementary is now a California Purple Star School! This award means they're doing a great job supporting their students, especially those from military families. They really focus on making sure kids can move schools easily, families feel involved, and everyone feels welcome.

At the district level, Emory Elementary is also preparing for attendance boundary adjustments planned for the upcoming school year as part of enrollment balancing efforts across nearby neighborhoods. These changes may bring new students into the school community and reflect the district’s response to shifting population trends. This means Emory might be getting some new students. Staff members are working to ensure continuity in instruction and student support during the transition. The staff is making plans so that learning stays on track during this switch.

Basically, Emory Elementary is all about being flexible, staying connected to the community, and keeping a strong learning environment, even when things change.
