About Elevate

Elevate is a public charter school in San Diego, California, that teaches kids in elementary school. The school has between 350 and 450 students, and there is one teacher for every 22 students. This helps with structured teaching and lets students get one-on-one help. There are a lot of students from minority groups at the school, which is similar to the community around it. USA News says that 69% of students are good at math and 86% are good at reading. Students do best in English Language Arts. California funds charter schools in a way that is similar to how per-pupil funding works. It helps pay for things like teaching materials, staff in the classroom, and services that help students. Elevate is in a neighborhood that cares about families, which helps with family involvement and a good school culture. The school looks good overall because its students do well in school, work on basic skills, and make steady progress.

Latest News

This winter, families are looking forward to Elevate School's Winter Showcase. It's a chance to see what students have been up to in subjects like math, reading, science, and art. Kids from kindergarten to sixth grade will be putting on shows and displays. They'll also have hands-on things to do that show off what they've learned in their classes. School leaders think the showcase is a good way to show how creative the students are, and to give families a better sense of how they use what they learn.

Elevate is also planning some winter workshops for parents. These will give parents ideas for helping their kids with reading and math at home. The school community seems pretty excited about these sessions, which should make the bond between families and the school even stronger. All of this shows that Elevate is serious about getting teachers, students, and families to work together, to make sure everyone does well in school and has a good time.
