Latest News

Dingeman Elementary has been working on a big district project this year. For the 2025–26 school year, San Diego Unified is adding transitional kindergarten (TK) classrooms. This means that families all over the district, even here at Dingeman, will have more chances to learn early.

With more TK spots open, younger kids can start school earlier with some extra help to get them ready. The school has also been involved in district-wide STEAM activities since the opening of a new Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) lab. Kids from different schools in the area, like Dingeman Elementary, can use the lab to do hands-on science lessons with tech, robotics, and other cool new ideas.

All of this shows how much the San Diego Unified School District wants to put money into early education and make learning better for kids. The families at Dingeman Elementary still support programs that help kids from transitional kindergarten to fifth grade do better in school and have more opportunities. They really want to help kids learn the basics and use their imaginations!
