Being Updated
Ballington???????????????? Academy for the Arts and Sciences in San Diego has expanded its STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) initiative, aimed at increasing student access to creative and technical areas. With this new program, the school offers the students an opportunity to experience the latest technology in robotics, digital media, music production, and the visual arts through different workshops. According to the school management, the program is their commitment to nurture both logical and creative thinking skills in kids of kindergarten and primary school aged 5 to 12 years.
In fact, pupils had already taken part in joint activities that combine art elements with the laws of engineering, for instance, constructing models that can be programmed and preparing multimedia presentations. Parents and community partners have shown support for the expanded program and believe that it is in line with the industry trends and will equip the students with the required skills for higher education.
