Being Updated
Recently, Balboa Elementary School made the news when students returned to a clean and welcoming campus after volunteers from the community helped pick up trash that had built up over the summer. In response, volunteers from the neighborhood worked with school staff over the weekend to clean up the grounds and make sure they were ready for the new school year. The principal talked about how important it is for the community to be involved in keeping the campus a nice place to be and thanked the community for their support.
The cleanup shows that the community cares about the well-being of the students and wants to make Balboa Elementary a safe and supportive place to learn. Parents have stressed how important it is for families and the school to keep working together to keep the grounds clean and safe all year.
