San Onofre Elementary is celebrating its unique role in serving military-connected families on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton with a curriculum designed for resilience and high academic growth. The school recently updated its website so that families who are moving can get help and meet other people right away. Families in the Fallbrook Union Elementary School District who want a supportive and challenging K–8 environment still choose the campus.
Q1. Does San Onofre Elementary have a specific school mascot?
Ans. The school mascot is used during assemblies and spirit days to make people feel proud and like they belong.
Q2. Does San Onofre Elementary have a science fair every year?
Ans. Every spring, the whole school community comes together for a competitive fair where students show off their original research and engineering projects.
Q3. How does San Onofre Elementary keep parents up to date on weekly news?
Ans. The administration sends out a digital newsletter and uses automated phone calls to let families know about all the events that are coming up.
Q4. Does San Onofre Elementary have any physical education teachers?
Ans. Every week, certified instructors teach classes to help students learn how to work together, improve their coordination, and love being healthy and fit.
Q5. Does San Onofre Elementary School give each student a yearbook every year?
Ans. A committee made up of students helps design a yearbook that includes pictures and memories from events that happened during the current school year.
