The new principal of Clarence Lobo Elementary, Laura Kindron, began the 2025–2026 school year with the school. She has been a teacher for more than 23 years. The school recently won the Model Professional Learning Community (PLC) award, making it the first elementary school in the Capistrano Unified School District to do so.
