Being Updated
Both schools were named Expanded Learning Champions in 2025 for their high-quality, inclusive before- and after-school programs.
Q1. What does the school do to help students move up from lower grades?
Ans. Transition support helps students get used to new routines and classrooms. It also includes regular check-ins with their teachers to help them adjust socially and academically during important grade-level changes.
Q2: At the start of the year, do parents know what is expected of them in the classroom?
Ans. Families are told what the academic and behavioral standards are at the start of the school year through written rules, meetings, and online platforms.
Q3. Does the school keep a close eye on how often students come to class?
Ans. We check attendance every day and tell families right away if there are any problems. This helps students stay on track and helps them learn better.
Q4. What do schools do to get ready for substitute teachers?
Ans. Substitute teachers follow the rules and lesson plans that have already been set up to keep things running smoothly and to keep lessons from being interrupted.
Q5. Is there someone there to watch over the students when they get there?
Ans. Staff members are there when students arrive to keep them safe and to make sure the start of the school day goes smoothly.
