In late 2025, San Bernardino County Supervisor Joe Baca Jr. announced a $3 million investment, matched by $1 million from the school district, to construct a new baseball and multi-use field at Curtis Middle School. The $4 million project includes plans for high-quality playing surfaces, energy-efficient lighting to support evening use, and shaded seating designed to accommodate more than 600 students. The development is intended to expand athletic infrastructure and increase access to upgraded outdoor facilities on campus.
