Being Updated
On January 14, 2026, Roosevelt Elementary started the Student Leadership Council. This gave students a say in what happens at school and in their communities. The council's job was to let representatives work with staff on things like school events, campus improvements, and other issues that are important to students. Teachers saw that the council members had become more responsible and confident because of this program. The program has helped students learn how to be leaders and has also encouraged them to get more involved in their school community.
