Heron Elementary School is offering expanded after-school programming through the LEAP Academy. The program provides academic support and enrichment activities for students in transitional kindergarten through sixth grade. The initiative is designed to extend learning opportunities and provide structured support beyond the regular school day.

Ans. Yes, Heron offers a range of extracurricular activities like clubs, sports, and enrichment activities to help students pursue their interests outside of school.

Ans. The school has chances for students to be leaders, like student councils and classroom leadership roles, especially for older students.
Q3. What does Heron do to help students move from elementary school to middle school?
Ans. Heron has a K–8 model that lets students move up slowly. They get academic counseling and grade-level support to help them get ready for middle school.
Q4. What kinds of technology can students use?
Students can use digital tools that help with learning and research, as well as classroom technology like laptops and tablets.
Q5: What can parents do to stay involved in the Heron school community?
Ans. Parents can get involved by volunteering, joining parent groups, going to school events, and talking to teachers and administrators on a regular basis.
