George Cirby Elementary is focusing on its "Intensive Intervention" programs to meet new state inclusion requirements. The school recently welcomed new support staff including a health assistant and evening custodian for the 2026 term. Community events are being planned for the spring to celebrate student achievements in literacy and mathematics.

Ans. The school offers integrated ELD support in the classroom and small group instruction to help students learn English.
Q2. What are the main goals of the Positive Behavior Intervention system at George Cirby Elementary School?
Ans. The program gives "Cirby Cash" and school prizes to students who show "Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible" behaviors.
Q3. Do students at George Cirby Elementary have access to outdoor classrooms or gardens?
Ans. Students help take care of the school vegetable garden, which is a living lab for lessons in science and nutrition.
Q4. Will George Cirby Elementary School offer specialized art classes during the 2026 school year?
Ans. The Art Docent program sends parent volunteers into classrooms once a month to teach kids about famous artists and their styles.
Q5. How does George Cirby Elementary check students' backpacks for safety?
Ans. Staff members keep an eye on all personal items to make sure that no one is bringing anything illegal into the classroom, but random safety checks are not standard.
