Diamond Creek Elementary recently celebrated its designation as a high-performing school in the Roseville district. The school office is now providing information packets for incoming 2026 Kindergarten and TK families. Students are engaged in various winter extracurricular activities and the school's enrichment program sessions.
Q1. Is there an annual talent show at Diamond Creek Elementary for all grades?
Ans. The school puts on a spring talent show where kids can show off their music, dance, or magic skills to the public.
Q2. How does Diamond Creek Elementary fit science labs into the weekly schedule?
Ans. In accordance with the Next Generation Science Standards, each class goes to the science lab to do hands-on experiments.
Q3. Does Diamond Creek Elementary have a summer school program to help students catch up or get ahead?
Ans. The district runs a four-week summer academy on campus for students who need extra help with their core subjects.
Q4. What is the "Buddy Program" for older and younger kids at Diamond Creek Elementary?
Ans. Fifth graders read with kindergarteners once a week to help them become leaders and create a sense of community in the school.
Q5. Do parents have to park in certain spots when they drop off their kids at Diamond Creek Elementary in the morning?
Ans. Parents must use the "valet" loop that is set up for drop-off and only park in marked visitor spaces when they come to visit.
