The new academic programs at Valley View Elementary for the 2025–2026 school year will help students come up with new ideas and work together. The campus is a community center where students can get help from others to reach their own goals. The school is still the best in Rocklin when it comes to academics, with 70% of students doing well in math.
Q1. How does Valley View Elementary School teach kids about the environment?
Ans. The school promotes a "green" campus by having recycling programs and lessons on local ecology and how to save water.
Q2. Does Valley View Elementary have a band?
Ans. Students in fifth and sixth grades can choose to learn to play an instrument and perform in concerts for families at different times of the year.
Q3. What is the "Buddy Program" at Valley View Elementary School?
Ans. Older students read and do activities with younger students to help them feel like mentors.
Q4. Is there a book fair at Valley View Elementary?
Ans. The PTC puts on a Scholastic book fair twice a year to raise money for the school library and get kids to read.
Q5. What do you do to welcome new families to Valley View Elementary?
Ans. Before the first day of school, the school holds an orientation and a "Meet the Teacher" event.
