Wilmer Amina Carter High School has been officially named a California Distinguished School for 2026. This is a high honor at the state level that recognizes the school's outstanding academic growth and student outcomes. Recently, the school honored the Class of 2026's best academic achievements by naming Samantha Ramos and Nathan Nguyen as Valedictorian and Salutatorian, respectively. The school's performing arts department also put on a great play that brought together students with different skills in acting and technical stagecraft.
