Rocketship Rising Stars is a public charter elementary school in Redwood City, California. It serves students in grades K–5. The school has about 614 students and a student-to-teacher ratio of 36:1, which is much higher than the average for California. Rocketship Rising Stars is based on the Rocketship Public Schools model, which focuses on longer learning times, data-driven teaching, and basic math and reading skills. The student body is very diverse, with most students coming from minority and multilingual backgrounds, mostly Hispanic or Latino.
