Kingsbury Elementary will focus on the social and emotional growth of its students in 2025–2026. It will also celebrate its long history and traditions. The school staff is working closely with parents to make sure the kids have a safe, supportive place to grow both physically and academically. Recent changes to the campus include better accessibility features so that everyone in the community can take part in school events.
Q1. Is there a "quiet zone" in the Kingsbury Elementary School library where kids can read?
Ans. The library has comfortable seating areas that are meant to make it easier for people to read on their own in a quiet, focused space.
Q2. What kinds of field trips do kids at Kingsbury Elementary School usually go on?
Ans. To help with their social studies and science lessons, grade levels often go to museums, historical sites, and nature centers in the area.
Q3. Does Kingsbury Elementary School take part in the "Box Tops for Education" program to raise money?
Ans. Yes, the PTA plans different collection drives throughout the year to raise money for classroom supplies and equipment.
Q4. The health office at Kingsbury Elementary School is in charge of giving students their medications.
Ans. A parent must bring all medications to the site with a doctor's permission, and the medications must be kept in a locked cabinet.
Q5. Is there a special program for gifted and talented students at Kingsbury Elementary School?
Ans. The school gives different types of instruction in the classroom to challenge students who are very smart or creative.
