Shasta County Independent Study is making its flexible learning model even better by adding a new set of online Career Technical Education modules. These modules will help students get industry-recognized certifications. The program recently improved its student resource center in Redding, giving it a more modern look and feel for one-on-one meetings with teachers and quiet, focused study. The school has also added a new set of regional field trips and hands-on science workshops to its independent curriculum to get people in the community involved.
