About Redding STEM Academy

In Redding, California, there is a public charter school called Redding STEM Academy. It is in a small city and serves kids in grades K–8. The school has about 237 students, and the student-teacher ratio is about 19:1, which is the same as the average for the district. There are about 12 full-time equivalent teachers who help with lessons, but there is no full-time school counselor. The Redding STEM Academy is a charter school that teaches science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). It combines core academic lessons with project-based learning and activities that help students solve problems. According to data from U.S. News, 42% of students are good at math and 52% are good at English Language Arts (ELA). This means that the students did well in the subjects that were tested. There are 36% female and 64% male students, and about 60% of them are thought to be poor. The school serves a wide range of students from the area, even though the exact percentages of minority students aren't always made public. There aren't any separate reports on how much money is spent on each student, but they usually follow the same rules as public charter schools.
