A lot of people are talking about the new ways of teaching at Manzanita Elementary in Redding, California. The school recently held a special Robotics Lab session where first-grade engineers programmed an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) to explore the "ocean." This hands-on activity is part of the school's effort to get kids interested in STEM subjects and help them think critically. The school is also getting ready for the CFSD Teacher Job Fair on February 7, 2026, which will be a fun event.
