Being Updated
Antelope Elementary just announced that it will be expanding its campus garden project. The goal of the project is to give students of all grades hands-on science lessons. The school is also getting ready for the spring festival, which is a time for families and staff to come together to celebrate the students' accomplishments. Additionally, new professional development workshops for teachers have been scheduled to focus on modern instructional strategies, ensuring the faculty remains equipped with the latest educational techniques to support the diverse needs of the student population.
Q1. What kinds of activities outside of school are there at Antelope Elementary?
Ans. The school has a lot of after-school programs and clubs that focus on the arts, physical education, and social skills to help students learn more outside of class.
Q2. Does the school offer special help with reading and writing?
Ans. Yes, the campus has reading intervention programs that help students meet grade-level standards by giving them small-group instruction that is tailored to their needs.
Q3. How does the school use technology in the classroom?
Ans. Students can use computer labs and digital learning tools to improve their technical skills and work on interactive school projects.
Q4. How does the school keep the campus safe and let visitors in?
Ans. The facility has a safe check-in system for all visitors and holds regular safety drills to make sure that all children are safe.
Q5. Are there ways for parents to be involved in running the school?
Ans. Parents are encouraged to join the School Site Council and the Parent-Teacher Organization to help make decisions about school rules and community events.
