Recently, Los Amigos Elementary held a multicultural festival where students learned about other cultures through music, food, and classroom presentations. The school is switching to new digital literacy platforms that help students at different reading levels in their own way. Parents are invited to the next School Site Council meeting to help finish the safety plan for the school year 2026–2027.
Q1. Does Los Amigos Elementary School have a program where students can learn two languages at once?
Ans. The school has a special program that teaches students how to read and write in both Spanish and English.
Q2. What special chances does the layout of Los Amigos Elementary School give?
Ans. There are outdoor learning areas on campus that let students learn in a new setting.
Q3. What does Los Amigos Elementary School do to keep students safe when it rains?
Ans. When the weather is bad, students are watched in the cafeteria or classrooms during lunch and playtime.
Q4. Does Los Amigos Elementary School have any chances for students to perform music each year?
Ans. Students take part in seasonal concerts where they show off their singing and their first attempts at playing musical instruments.
Q5. Is there an active English Learner Advisory Committee at Los Amigos Elementary School?
Ans. Every three months, there are meetings for parents of English learners to give their thoughts on school programs and budgets.
