Central Elementary recently held a special assembly to celebrate how well its students did in the district-wide literacy challenge. The school is getting ready for its "Kindergarten Round-Up" in 2026, which will help new families get ready for the next school year. Families should remember that the school office will hold a workshop for parents later this month on how to use technology safely.
Q1. Does Central Elementary School offer an after-school care program for its students on the premises?
Ans. There is a supervised childcare program on campus that provides academic help and fun activities until six o'clock every day.
Q2. What are the colors and mascot for Central Elementary School's spirit days?
Ans. The Cougar is the school's mascot, and every Friday students wear school colors to show their pride and unity.
Q3. How does Central Elementary School deal with student behavior and help them with their social and emotional health?
Ans. Staff members put in place a system of positive behavior that rewards students for being safe, polite, and responsible citizens.
Q4. Are there certain rules about playground safety that Central Elementary School follows during recess?
Ans. Under the watchful eye of the yard staff, students must use equipment as it was meant to be used and follow the "hands-off" rule.
Q5. Does Central Elementary School have an open house every year for families who might want to enroll?
Ans. Families can tour classrooms and see student academic projects and a variety of artistic work at a spring showcase event.
