James Dukes Elementary School is located at 24908 Cain Road in the Ramona neighborhood. It serves 468 students in grades K–6. The student–teacher ratio is 21:1. Math proficiency is 50% and reading proficiency is 54%. The gender mix is 49% male and 51% female. The environment is set up to help people grow socially and academically over time. Teachers put a lot of value on being fair and consistent when it comes to helping students grow. The campus is a quiet and focused place for learning in the neighborhood. Small class sizes help students learn in a way that is more tailored to their needs. The way the school is set up makes it easy for staff to keep an eye on everyone and keep the area safe. Staff members are committed to making a daily routine that is helpful and easy to follow. The library and common areas are used to encourage people to read and do research. The price of a house in the area usually falls between $720,000 and $980,000. Parents are very sure that the campus is safe and secure. A lot of families appreciate how dedicated the long-term teachers are. People often say that being able to talk about how students are doing is a big plus. James Dukes Elementary is now officially taking new students for the school year 2025–2026. The school is excited to have the next group of "big dreamers" come to its campus. The school keeps talking about its popular Running Club, which gets kids moving and working together before school starts. The school wants to make sure that all of its students are ready for college and a job in the 21st century. These actions are in line with that goal.

Ans. Students in the upper grades can run for student council positions to help plan school events and speak for their classmates.

Ans. To keep the classroom from being too noisy, mobile devices must stay off and in backpacks during the school day.

Ans. The school has a special TK curriculum that helps kids move from preschool to regular kindergarten.

Ans. Teachers give students non-food rewards like special certificates or extra time in class to celebrate milestones while keeping them safe and healthy.
