The mural at San Rafael Elementary School is over 100 feet long and pays tribute to the animals that live in Southern California. The students worked together on the art project to learn about the different kinds of plants and animals that live in the area and how to take care of the environment. The mural was made with help from the Cygnet Foundation, ActiveSGV, the school administration, and the PTA. People who went to a community event found out about it.
