The Special Education Parent Academy, held at Howard Tanner Elementary in early 2025, was designed to assist families in comprehending and navigating the special education procedure in the Paramount Unified School District. The event counted as part of Howard Tanner’s outreach based on our commitment to linking high-need families with district resources, with all of the participating families being either minorities (100% of students are minorities) or economically disadvantaged (93% of students are economically disadvantaged).
