Summerwind Elementary is really excited! The Palmdale School District wants to get people involved in the community and try new ways of learning, and this school is part of that effort. The district has spent $7 million on technology and started the "Footsteps to Brilliance" program, which teaches kids two languages. The City of Palmdale is also putting on a lot of events, like the Fight Fentanyl Antelope Valley Summer Youth Program, which is meant to teach and motivate local teens to make a difference.
