This year, John Bettencourt is the principal of Stanford Avenue Elementary School. The school is doing everything it can to help its students succeed. Better lighting and security on campus, including at the school, are some of the safety improvements that will be made across the OCESD district. Students in the area are being encouraged to join the Oroville Orcas swim team as one of their extracurricular activities.
