This year, John Bettencourt is the principal of Stanford Avenue Elementary School. The school is doing everything it can to help its students succeed. Better lighting and security on campus, including at the school, are some of the safety improvements that will be made across the OCESD district. Students in the area are being encouraged to join the Oroville Orcas swim team as one of their extracurricular activities.

Ans. A positive behavior program is used to reward students who are very kind, safe, and responsible on campus.
Q2. Does Stanford Avenue Elementary have a drama class?
Ans. During school assemblies and seasonal events, students can take part in small plays and theatrical skits.
Q3. Does Stanford Avenue Elementary School have tutoring services?
Ans. Students who need help reaching grade-level benchmarks can get extra help before or after school.
Q4. Does Stanford Avenue Elementary have science kits?
Ans. Classrooms get special kits that let students do interactive experiments and learn about scientific theories.
Q5. Is there a parent-teacher group at Stanford Avenue Elementary?
Ans. A group of active volunteers helps raise money and plan special events to make learning more fun for students.
