New School Year For All at Pershing Elementary!
As everyone gets ready for the upcoming school year, both students and faculty at Pershing Elementary are eager to kick off the 2025 - 26 school year! Returning students came back to classrooms with families and incoming new students were welcomed to the campus with much anticipation. Teachers expressed the importance of working together while encouraging students to engage and collaborate in plenty of different activities throughout the school year. According to District Administrators, a new school year presents students the opportunity of reuniting with their classmates and establishing their own academic goals for the upcoming year.
Q1. What types of tech resources does Pershing Elementary School provide its students with?
Ans. Technology is used in classrooms at Pershing Elementary on a daily basis to support student learning. Students may use devices and educational programs that allow them to access information and complete both digital and traditional assignments.
Q2. How are new students supported when transitioning to Pershing Elementary School?
Ans. When new students arrive at the school, teachers and staff make every effort to ensure their transition goes smoothly. During the first few weeks, students may participate in orientation activities to become familiar with the campus and classroom routines. Through support from teachers and staff, students gradually build confidence as they adjust to their new school environment.
Q3. What types of school events help bring students together during the year?
Ans. Many schools, including Pershing Elementary School, typically provide a wide range of school-wide activities throughout the course of a school year. These activities may include theme days, school assemblies, and/or recognition events for student participation that promote a positive school environment.

Ans. Classroom expectations are usually explained by the teacher to students at the beginning of the school year and re-taught regularly throughout the school year. By using clear routines and consistent rules, students can learn what appropriate behaviours are required of them and develop into respectful members of the school community.

Ans. School events can provide opportunities for students to interact with classmates outside regular lessons. Activities such as assemblies, seasonal celebrations, and recognition programs often help build school spirit while giving students chances to participate in the broader campus community.
