Being Updated
Hamilton TK-8 School is now having parent-teacher conferences in the middle of the year to talk about how students are doing in school and what they want to accomplish in the spring semester. We are still adding the "Portrait of a Graduate" skills to the TK-8 curriculum on campus so that all students are ready for high school. Families are also getting ready for events that will happen all over the district after the new traditional school year calendar for 2025–2026 comes out.
Q1. Is there a bridge program at Hamilton TK-8 School for students moving from elementary to middle school?
Ans. The school sets up special orientation days when fifth graders follow middle school students around to help them make the switch to middle school easier.
Q2. What are the rules for Hamilton TK-8 School students using their cell phones during the day?
Ans. From the first bell to the last bell, devices must be turned off and put away in lockers or backpacks.
Q3. How does Hamilton TK-8 School handle the different lunch times for kids in primary and middle school?
Ans. The campus uses a staggered lunch schedule to make sure that younger and older students have their own, age-appropriate places to play.
Q4. Are there any sports teams for older kids at Hamilton TK-8 School that they can compete on?
Ans. Students in grades six through eight can try out for basketball, volleyball, and track teams that play against other schools in the area.
