Recently, Napa Street Elementary threw a party to celebrate the good things that came from the "Rack Room Shoes Gives Teacher of the Year" program, which gives schools money for technology. The school still talks about its goal of creating a safe place where people can trust each other and have high moral standards that help them do well in school. Current announcements remind families how important it is to use modern, hands-on learning tools to make up for what they miss in traditional lessons.
Q1. Is there a place for parents to get help at Napa Street Elementary?
Ans. special room on campus gives parents access to computers, educational books, and workshops on how to help their children learn.
Q2. How does "Napa Street Elementary" stop bullying?
Ans. To help students deal with social conflicts in a positive way, the school uses the "Stop, Walk, and Talk" method.
Q3. Does Napa Street Elementary have a day for careers?
Ans. People who work in Northridge come to classrooms to talk about their jobs and encourage students to think about their future goals.
Q4. Are there any special events for kindergarteners at Napa Street Elementary School?
Ans. Before the school year starts, new students can tour the classrooms and meet their teachers during the "Kindergarten Round-up."
Q5. Is there a breakfast program at Napa Street Elementary?
Ans. The "Breakfast in the Classroom" program makes sure that all students eat a healthy meal before class every day.
