Andasol Avenue Elementary is currently promoting its Title I School Parent and Family Engagement Policy for the upcoming 2025-2026 academic year. On November 20, 2025, the School Site Council (SSC) and the ELAC got together to talk about how the kids were doing. Families who are thinking about sending their kids to the School for Advanced Studies should take tours of the school soon to see the campus and learn more about the program.
Q1. Is there a certain focus for advanced learners at Andasol Avenue Elementary?
Ans. The school is a School for Advanced Studies (SAS) that offers different types of instruction for high-achieving students in Northridge.
Q2. What is the policy at "Andasol Avenue Elementary" about school uniforms?
Ans. To help the school come together, students are encouraged to wear navy blue pants and white or light blue collared shirts.
Q3. Are there any special environmental programs at Andasol Avenue Elementary?
Ans. There is a special garden on campus where students can learn about biology and sustainability by planting and harvesting plants.
Q4. What does Andasol Avenue Elementary do to keep students safe when they drop them off?
Ans. Parent volunteers run a coordinated valet system to make sure that students who are arriving have a smooth and safe transition.
Q5. Does Andasol Avenue Elementary have any chances to do performing arts?
Ans. Throughout the school year, students can take part in choral music and theater workshops to improve their creative skills.
