Valley Charter Elementary is a public charter school in North Hills, California, that teaches kids in grades K–5. There are about 500 to 600 students at the school, and there is one teacher for every 23 students. This is a little higher than some elementary schools in the area, but it's normal for a lot of California public charters. Valley Charter Elementary follows California's state frameworks and uses a curriculum based on standards. The main goals are to teach the basics, use technology in the classroom, and get kids ready for college starting in the early grades. The student body is as varied as the North Hills community. 62% of students are good at math and 57% are good at reading (ELA), which means they are doing well in school. Located in the San Fernando Valley area, where median home prices are above the national average, the school is part of a competitive educational landscape that includes options often considered among the best elementary school in California . Overall, Valley Charter Elementary demonstrates solid academic outcomes and a structured learning environment.
