Plummer Elementary School recently had a fun assembly to honor students who had done well in school, been good citizens, and come to school more often. Families also went to a night of community involvement where they could see displays in the classroom and do fun learning activities.
Q1. Does Plummer Elementary have programs for students with special needs?
Ans. Yes, the school follows district and state rules when it comes to special education programs and individualized education plans (IEPs).
Q2. Are there programs before and after school?
Ans. Depending on yearly funding and how many students sign up, there may be extended day or enrichment programs.
Q3. Do students get rides to school?
Ans. Depending on district rules and how far away the student lives, transportation services may be available for students who qualify.
Q4. Does the school help students who are learning English?
Ans. Yes, there are services to help students who are learning English improve their English skills.
Q5. How can parents talk to their child's teacher?
Ans. Parents can talk to each other through scheduled meetings, email, and the district's online parent portal.
